WEEK
1
4/25/04 - 5/2/04
The delivery was super easy, couldn't ask for more. 5 boys and 4 girls. Hannah was a trooper and every one is healthy and thriving. The last few days have been tough for Hannah. Her hormones are raging and she is a little sleep deprived. Since one of us always sleep by the puppies during the first week, Hannah has been keeping us up most of the night. She whines and wants to go outside to dig. Apparently her nesting instincts are in overdrive. We have found that when Phoebe gets in the whelping box with her it usually calms her down. Thank God for Grandma Phoebe. These pups will have the multigenerational maternal influence going on. Everyone is gaining weight and growing like weeds.
